You know that when you sit down to start your stretches and just sitting up straight is a stretch that it’s going to be rough.

Add to that missing a turn on the run you mapped out, but are running backwards….

I’m sore in places I didn’t know I would be sore from running Monday. I’m pretty sure I was pacing really inconsistently today as I’m still trying to figure out what exactly this pace is going to be. Then I ran an extra .2 miles. Everything combined nearly made me puke. All those challenges said, I feel really good for going out and doing it.

I ran 2.2 miles in 21:28, which averages to about 30 seconds more per mile than yesterday. I’m not surprised. I had a feeling today was going to be harder due to soreness. Getting turned around didn’t help. But I’m sure I will be more adventurous next time it happens. 🙂
