Blood, Sweat and Tears

First of all, I did not work out the past two days because I did not stop working at 5 o clock. I have since decided that the key to life balance is quitting on time each day, and I will make it my goal to do so every day that I can. 😀

In the mean time I have had a serious hankering to do the workout I did today simply because I knew it would WRECK me. And it did. I would also like to add that the last workout I did turned out to be excellent. I have worked out in 2 days, but I’m still sore in all the right places. Score.

Also, I am now consistently using a weight bag for exercises where she does. Today I’m at 10.2 lbs. I’m steadily increasing the weight, as it has yet to be enough.

So today I did:

That’s right, this workout has THREE HUNDRED SIXTY reps to completion. The message that I really want to pass on -and I hope you are still reading at this point- is that I work really hard to complete these workouts. I know several people are reading these regularly and a couple people mentioned to me they are starting to workout now, as well. I love these videos from BodyRock, because you can see in the video how hard Zuzanna works each day, so I wanted to post a short video from about 2/3 of the way through my workout to illustrate that even though when I write these notes I’m always really positive and happy, I usually look and feel like I’m about to keel over until I get 100% through my cool down and stretching. It’s not supposed to be easy. I ask my family for support every time I feel like I can’t keep going. And completing the workout is a HUGE reward.
